On 5 October, Scuderia Scribante Racing made an exciting debut at the Zwartkops Hillclimb, an iconic event renowned for testing both man and machine against the clock on a demanding uphill course. This year marked the first time that this event took place and Aldo Scribante was there to represent Scuderia Scribante.
The competition was fierce in the Top of the Hill Modified Production Car Shootout B5 Class, with six rounds of qualifying sessions leading up to the final shootout. Aldo’s cousin, Franco Scribante, joined the mix in Qualifying 6 alongside Aldo and the accomplished Reghard Roets, making the fight for the top spot even more intense.

Qualifying 6 Results
In the sixth and final qualifying round, Franco Scribante clocked in the fastest time with a blistering 52.8 seconds. Reghard Roets followed closely at 53.4 seconds, while Aldo posted a solid time of 55.6 seconds. These times set the stage for an exhilarating Top of the Hill Modified Production Car Shootout B5 Class finale.

Despite the competitive atmosphere and the high stakes, Aldo kept his focus and pushed his Audi S4 to its limits. Aldo’s Audi, a beast of a car boasting a 3-liter V6 Turbo Charged engine and an incredible 900 horsepower, is built for power and speed. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and with a top speed of 270 km/h, this machine is designed to dominate any racetrack.
The Final Shootout
The final showdown for the Top of the Hill Modified Production Car Shootout B5 Class did not disappoint. Reghard Roets emerged victorious with a time of 53.2 seconds, taking first place by a slim margin. Aldo Scribante put on a fantastic display of skill, shaving down his previous qualifying time to achieve a time of 55.2 seconds, securing a well-earned second place. Rounding out the podium was Devin Robertson, finishing third with a time of 57.5 seconds.
